These terms cover purchases from The Events Switch Ltd. They're short and in plain English on purpose. By buying any of our products or services, you agree to them. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a UK consumer.
Digital products
Our downloads (including the CV Template Pack, Interview Question Bank and 30-Day Switch Plan) are delivered instantly after payment via a download page and are for your personal use only. Please don't share, resell or republish them.
Refunds: because digital content is delivered immediately, you agree that by accessing the download you waive the standard 14-day cancellation right, and purchases are non-refundable once downloaded. If a file is faulty or you can't access it, email us and we'll fix it or refund you, no drama.
Coaching sessions and one-off services
- Rearranging: sessions (coaching, interview practice, Power Hours) can be rearranged free of charge with at least 24 hours' notice via your booking link or by email. Less than 24 hours' notice, or not showing up, means the session is counted as delivered. Genuine emergencies are treated like the humans we all are, so talk to us.
- Delivery times: the CV & LinkedIn Rewrite is delivered within 7 days of receiving your complete materials, and the LinkedIn Audit within 3 days of receiving your profile link. One revision round is included with the rewrite.
- Your part: services depend on you sending materials and honest information. Delays in sending them pause our delivery clock.
The Switch Plan subscription
- Billed monthly at the advertised price until cancelled. Minimum one month.
- Cancel anytime via the link in your Stripe receipt or by emailing us. Cancellation stops the next payment; the current month runs to its end with all its sessions available.
- Unused sessions don't roll over between months, but we'll always work with you to schedule them within the month.
What we promise, and what we can't
We promise honest, experienced guidance based on real events industry and hiring experience, delivered with genuine care. We cannot and do not guarantee that you will get any particular job, interview or salary, because hiring decisions belong to employers. Anyone who guarantees you a job is selling something else.
Liability
Our total liability for any claim relating to a product or service is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
The boring but necessary
The Events Switch Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales with its registered office at 124 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
